  It used to be one of my favourite places to visit. Unfortunately, of late it became more of an entertainment/ money making enterprise than an actual garden centre as its primary focus no longer seems to be on plants/gardening. That said, it is not necessarily a bad thing, just not something I agree with, hence a star off. They have so much going on there that it would be a job to enumerate everything. They have a shop with gardening stuff in it and stuff that has little and less to do with gardening with a coffee shop attached to it. You can still get quality plants from there, just be careful not to get lost in the other half of it! They have a farm shop with a fan choice of produce with a restaurant in it. Family friendly, naturally, with an outside sitting area when the weather is nice. They have pick your own strawberries and raspberries in season. They have a playground for kids and a few things like trampoline, merry go round and driving tractors, which one has to pay extra for and they are not cheap! They have( normally but not always) animals to look at: ponies, rabbits, pigs, alpacas, cattle etc. And to finish off, they now also have a falconry centre. So plenty to do if well planned.
